Stone Calculator publishes calculator and reference material for natural-stone and slab work. This disclosure explains how to interpret its estimates, sources, and any commercial relationship that may be identified on a page.
Calculation limits
A calculator result is an estimate from a stated method and the inputs supplied. It is not a supplier quote, product recommendation, fabrication layout, installation instruction, structural design, code-compliance result, or professional approval. Verify important quantities and decisions against current product documentation, actual measurements, project drawings, and qualified professional advice. Read each tool’s assumptions, units, sources, and limitations before use.
Sources and references
A citation identifies a source used for a particular method, input, or explanation. It does not mean that the source reviewed or endorses Stone Calculator, or that the source supports every output. A reference to a standard does not mean the calculator tests or certifies compliance with that standard.
