This Privacy Policy describes information handled through Stone Calculator at stonecalculator.vip. “Stone Calculator,” “we,” and “our” refer to the website published under that name; this page does not identify a separate legal entity or business operator.
Current site status
As of the effective date, the public calculator directory and Guides archive have no published entries. Visitors therefore cannot currently submit measurements to a published calculator or use a calculator-specific feedback or PDF request. The sections below explain the handling that applies to the website now and to calculator features if they are later published and made available.
Information handled when you visit
When a browser requests a page, the hosting and web-server infrastructure necessarily processes connection and request information. This may include an IP address, date and time, requested path, referring page, browser or device information, response status, and security-related request metadata. The host may use this information to deliver pages, detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect the site. Server and security-log locations and retention are controlled by hosting configuration; Stone Calculator does not publish a fixed log-retention period here.
Calculator inputs and technical diagnostics
If a calculator is published, the values you enter are sent to the calculator service so it can validate the request, perform the calculation, and return the result. Do not enter sensitive personal, payment, health, or confidential customer information into a measurement field. The calculator page should explain the fields and method required for that specific task.
Calculator Core can record technical diagnostic events when a published calculator encounters a validation or processing problem. The event format includes information such as calculator and release identifiers, a field path, error or validation category, value type, applicable minimum or maximum, request identifier, and time. It is designed to record diagnostic metadata rather than the raw value entered in the field. The configured default diagnostic retention is 90 days unless changed by the site administrator. Rate limiting may also use a shortened SHA-256 representation of an IP address as a temporary request key; this key is used to control request frequency and expires with its rate-limit window.
Optional calculator features
- PDF reports: if a published tool offers a PDF, the submitted calculator request is processed to generate the requested file. PDF-use records contain operational metadata such as calculator, result status, response size, and time. The default PDF-use retention is 90 days unless changed.
- PDF email or follow-up request: if a tool presents this feature, it may collect the email address you enter, an optional name, calculator and release identifiers, the source page, and the request or consent status. The default retention for these records is 365 days unless changed. The exact purpose and fields should be shown in the relevant interface before submission.
- Feedback: if a published tool offers feedback, the message and limited technical context may be stored, such as the page URL, input-field paths, error code or path, HTTP status, and source. Do not include private project or customer details in feedback.
- Aggregate behavior measurements: Calculator Core supports optional aggregate event counts. The site-level setting for this feature is not enabled as of the effective date. If that configuration changes, the policy and relevant tool notice should be updated.
These calculator features are not currently exposed through a published public calculator on this site.
Email correspondence
If you email admin@stonecalculator.vip, we receive the sender address and the message content, including any information you choose to include. We use it to read and respond to the inquiry, manage corrections or privacy requests, and keep necessary correspondence records. Your email provider and the receiving mail service also process the message under their own terms and privacy practices. Do not email sensitive information that is not needed to explain your request. This site has no contact form.
Cookies and WordPress features
The public pages do not require an account. WordPress may use necessary authentication or preference cookies when someone uses a login or administrative feature. WordPress or hosting security features may also process technical data needed to operate those features. Public registration is not enabled. Cookie behavior may change if the site adds a feature that requires additional storage; any such feature should be described when introduced.
How information is used and disclosed
Information is used to deliver and secure the site, respond to email, maintain published pages, diagnose technical failures, and operate a calculator feature when one is made available. Information may be processed by the hosting, email, and technical service providers needed for those purposes, or disclosed when required to address security, protect rights, or comply with law. The site does not control the independent privacy practices of those providers or of external websites linked from its pages.
Retention and security
Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond, manage the matter, and maintain appropriate records. Calculator diagnostics and optional feature records follow the configured retention periods described above; an administrator can change those settings. Hosting logs follow hosting configuration. No internet transmission or storage method can be represented as risk-free, and this site does not promise a particular security outcome.
Privacy requests
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may be able to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of personal information associated with an email inquiry or an optional calculator feature. Email admin@stonecalculator.vip with “Privacy Request” in the subject and identify the relevant address or interaction. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify and locate the request. We may retain information where required for security, legal obligations, or legitimate record-keeping. No web form is provided.
External links and changes
Pages may link to manufacturers, suppliers, standards organizations, or other resources. A link takes you to a separate service governed by its own policies. We may revise this notice when site functionality or data handling changes; the effective date above will be updated when the policy itself is revised.
